Queen Reverend Mutima's Relaxation Prayer

Greetings families, friends, and loved ones. Thank you for taking the time to listen and to be with me right now. I wanted to send a prayer of healing, a prayer of relaxation and a confirmation that everything is going to be all right. So take a deep breath with me, calm down your nervous system through breathing. You can breathe in at the count of five. Hold for five and out for five. This breath is said to allow anxiety to be released from your body, mind and spirit. And this prayer is for healing the anxiety that we all might be feeling, from all of the things that we're hearing that are tragic, and painful, and scary in the world in the last two weeks, two years, 200 years. There have been so many human problems and so much pain, sadness, and grief, and fear and anger that so many people, maybe you and sometimes even me, feel out of balance and out of sorts.

And I'm here to tell you and to remind you that there is a way of pulling back, breathing through what we hear, feels, sense, see and even experience personally, to take a moment to drop into our own selves, for there is a spot, a place within us, that is surely whole, perfect and complete, filled with peace. But it's on the inside, not on the outside. So it's with the breath, and centering, and closing the eyes, and going into your personal darkness, and not being afraid, allowing fear to be released from the body through the breath. And I want you to do that breathing, breathing in five, hold in five and breathing out five. And I want you to just start to breathe through your heart, in and out.

The heart is a strong muscle, a place where intelligence filled with love and compassion, a place that we can breathe in and out of, that will bring clarity and compassion to ourselves and to others. Yes, we've been told that the mind is where the manifestation is, but the heart is the new place in the 21st century that we are called to be thinking from, living within and acting from. So, open your heart with your breathing and start by loving yourself, accepting yourself, comforting yourself, taking care of yourself. Please repeat after me. I love myself the way I am, and still, I'm willing to grow. I am centered in my place in the universe, and I have all the help I need to accomplish what I came here to do.

Yes. And now take another very deep breath in and out of your heart, and begin to forgive yourself for harming yourself, body, mind or spirit, in this life or any other life. And then, think of someone who's harmed you, and bring their energy fully into your consciousness, and know that to forgive them is to release negative energy out of your own body, mind and spirit. So if you're willing, please, please repeat after me. I forgive everyone and anyone and especially this person that I'm thinking of now for harming me, body, mind and spirit, in this life or any other life. I release you. I forgive you. I allow you to go your way.

And I take back my power and my energy. Very good. Peace is possible, and it will only happen in our lifetimes. For those of us who make peace with ourselves and peace with all who have harmed us in any way, so let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me. And it makes its beginning as I allow myself to forgive myself. So breathe in self-forgiveness any way that you are holding yourself in contempt, criticizing, judging, putting down yourself. Take a deep breath in your heart and let it go. Feel the release in your body, for it is so. Open your heart, and send love to the world. You're so powerful. Love is the healing salve, and I'm glad that you've taken the time to go on this journey with me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
